Congratulations to the Community Award Winners 2022

Congratulations to Coity couple Bernard and Diane Tiltman who were recently awarded the Community Council’s Annual Community Award.
The award and some gifts were presented to them by Council Chair, Councillor Alan Wathan, at the council meeting held on 9th March.
The award was presented for their work in the Community over many years. Bernard was a Community Councillor before stepping down in Coity Higher for the younger generation of councillors to take on the role. Diane has been a Governor at Coety Primary School for over 5 years and always gives up her time to attend school trips and regularly visits the school to support the children. They are both also members of Coity Festivals and were members of Coity Village Association for many years. Councillor Amanda Williams who nominated the couple said ‘they give up so much of their time for the community and have helped raise tens of thousands of pounds for local good causes over the years. If anyone needs any help, they are always one of the first to offer.’
