St Mary’s Church Coity Remembrance Service

Many of our Councillors attended services within the borough on Remembrance Day 9th November 2025. In Coity the bells were rung half muffled before the Eucharist service, followed by a Community Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial led by Rev Nick Sandford. The service was attended by 100 members of the local community and included a Guard of Honour from Bridgend Air Cadets.
Coity Higher Community Council Chair, Councillor Martin Williams, laid a wreath on behalf of the Council. Vice-Chair, Councillor Alan Wathan, attended the service in Bridgend town centre and laid a wreath there on behalf of Coity Higher too.
