Pendre Fields Play Area Refurbishment

The Community Council are in the process of taking over the play area at Great Western Avenue from BCBC under a Community Asset Transfer. In the last few months the Community Council has obtained match funding via BCBC’s Town and Community Council Fund to refurbish the play area and this work is now underway. The play area will have all new equipment, include accessible items, and should be completed by 26th July. In addition the Community Council will install a new bin and two new benches as well as a new bench outside the play area.
