Financial Donations 2016/17

Each year the Community Council make financial donations to various groups or charities whose work benefits those living within the Coity Higher Ward.

In the year up to March 2017 the following donations were made:

  • Bridgend Carers Centre £250
  • Coity Village Association for Skip for Fete £218.40
  • Coity Festivals Skip for Jam in the Castle £218.40
  • Shelter Cymru £100
  • Home Start Bridgend £150
  • Friends of Litchard Primary School Fete £100
  • Junior Latin Formation Dance Competition £50
  • Wildmill Community Table Tennis Club £50
  • Coity Seniors Christmas Lunch £319
  • BCBC/RLNI Beach Services £200

In addition at the March 2017 meeting, the Community Council Members agreed to donate the following:

  • Bobath Children’s Therapy – £250
  • National Eisteddfod – £100
  • Llangollen International Eisteddfod – £100
  • Marie Curie Cancer Care Bridgend – £250
  • Bridge Mentoring Plus – £200
  • Bridgend Samaritans – £250
  • Wales Air Ambulance – £250
  • Teenage Cancer Trust – £200
  • Macmillan Cancer Support Bridgend – £250
  • Cancer Information Support Services £200
